Aiming to expand its portfolio, Banco Pan decided to create a new credit product targeted at dealerships, taking advantage of the opportunity created by the drop in new car sales during the pandemic. With this initiative, the bank would start competing with financial institutions associated with automakers, which dominate this market. The new product aimed not only to fill a gap but also to provide dealerships with faster and more advantageous solutions, tailored to the current economic reality.

Banco Pan needed to enter a segment highly explored by automaker banks, adopting an efficient approach, optimizing the customer journey, and capturing value from a new business channel. Additionally, the bank had to ensure that the customer experience was simplified, fast, and secure, offering products that truly met the needs of the automotive sector, creating a unique value proposition.

To tackle the challenge, Banco Pan created a market entry strategy aimed at offering intelligent and contextualized products, specifically designed to meet customer needs in a seamless way. The solution included the development of a digital credit platform tailored to the automotive sector niche, with a prototype aligned with business decision-making and consumer experience.

This approach was complemented by agile orchestration of integrations and an optimized customer journey. As a result, Banco Pan achieved significant growth, with its vehicle credit portfolio surpassing R$ 15 billion. 

In just one year, the credit portfolio grew by 12%, and the "Vehicles" category came to represent 44% of the total portfolio, becoming one of the main pillars of the business. The platform reached 19,100 retailers and dealerships, offering a seamless and efficient experience that positively impacted the vehicle credit market.
