Internal process optimization and data analysis have elevated the level of efficiency and execution at iFood.

Challenge

iFood is the leader in food delivery in Latin America, and sustaining this position requires not only expanding its commercial reach but also investing in the constant evolution of its internal systems. With this in mind, the company was seeking to digitize its Financial processes, mitigating the risks of manual procedures and seeking to optimize the Purchasing journey, synchronizing end-to-end this operational vision, bringing operational efficiency.

Solution

Qintess brought visibility and greater control of internal processes through their digitalization. They provided support for Purchasing decisions by allowing for flexible simulations through data analysis. They implemented CELONIS, considering data from the 'Procure to Pay' and 'Accounts Payable' processes collected from SAP and ARIBA. As a result, they developed and customized Dashboards and Data Analysis. At the end of the project, they transferred all knowledge and technical documentation to the client.

Benefits

Thanks to the implementation of CELONIS, many improvements were achieved, such as a 43% increase in payments made within the agreed timeframe through end-to-end digitalization of the Purchasing process. There was a 400% increase in visibility of Maverick Buying occurrences, +10 Action Engines developed to support the operational level, reducing late payments by 5% and accounting anticipations by 3.4%. Additionally, 7 immediate actions with a value gain in progress and 9 opportunities with OKRs established in the backlog for possible future improvements.

"Having Celonis allowed iFood to take the 'Purchasing' and 'Accounts Payable' processes to another level of execution efficiency. Besides giving us executive visibility, it also allowed Food Lovers to focus more on their priority - revolutionizing the food universe."
